JAXA’s SOLAR-B ascends to the heavens: Now studying the sun, SOLAR-B was launched on September 23rd.

3,023,000 more women: Looking at the newly published population numbers, the final tally for May of this year shows Japan with 3,023,000 more women than men. For the preliminary numbers for September, both male and female populations show small gains from May.

Sponsor the show with the most: The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) is looking for non-automotive sponsors for the Tokyo Motor Show. The Tokyo Motor Show pulls in more visitors than any other motor show, and one of our favorite events.

Toyota continues stunning results in August: Toyota’s production and sales numbers for August show more excellent results.
