Every March 3rd is Girls Day in Japan. Mothers and daughters set up gorgeous arrays of dolls to celebrate this wonderful holiday:

If you are interested in acquiring a set of such beautiful dolls, the Japan Journal would like to propose a shopping trip to Japan in late January or early February of next year. This is the best time to shop for dolls since it was when the Japanese themselves also shop.
